MAFIQ organizes multiple platforms at Washington Metro Area with special models for Muslim Youths to enhance talents and sharpen their communication skills through writing, debating, oratory, and reflections to develop their leadership skills.
Since 2005, MAFIQ is organizing the MYDT that focuses on developing and exercising skills in parliamentary debate, critical analysis, and verbal delivery in the context of relevant faith-related topics. The MYDT was taken to ISNA Convention, Washington, D. C. on 2009 and also on Sep 1, 2013. The 2014 MYDT was a very successful event held at Al-Fatih Academy on June 21, 2014. Ten High School teams and thirteen Middle School teams participated in this tournament.
MyStI is a research internship for Muslim high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate college students. MY-FIKR offers a summer-long opportunity to pursue scientific investigation of relevant social issues regarding the Muslim community, global environment and society, and how all of these interact.
