Eid-al-Fitr Celebration:
When most other families are enjoying Eid,having fun, Mafiq Foundation has remembered the many others who are unable to enjoy this blessed day. Thorugh your donations and Fitra contributions, we make many poor families happy during Eid. Ibn 'Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) made Zakat al-Fitr compulsory on every Muslim. It is meant to purify the fast and feed the hungry. Zakat al-Fitr is estimated to be $10 per person in your household. |
Eid-al-Azha Celebration:
During Eid Al-Adha Muslims all over the world come together to celebrate the teachings of sacrifice and kindness of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH). Muslims contemplate on those teachings at Eid-al-Adha and many who are less fortunate receive lamb and cow meat (Udhiyahs) from those who are capable of giving. Over the past years, Mafiq Foundation has distributed such meat to hundreds of poor people. For many of the beneficiaries, this is the only time of year they eat meat. |
Cloths Drive:
Working together with Faith Foundation, we have raised hundreds of pieces of garments for distribution in Bangladesh. |
